All of our work is done with very limited resources. Thrive DC relies on individuals, local businesses, private foundations, schools, civic organizations, and religious groups for financial support and for donations of food, supplies, and time.
Volunteer Spotlight
Cliff has been volunteering at Thrive DC for over a year and came to us because he wanted an opportunity to give back. Cliff volunteers in our computer lab using his considerable professional experience to help clients use the equipment to connect with family, learn to email and be more productive through technology. In Cliff’s own words “doing work here is exciting… I have seen so much here. I see the need. I enjoy the experience.”
When he is not at Thrive DC Cliff reads novels, travels and is a self described foodie.
